Joe Cole has returned back from injury to help Liverpool in their push for the champions league places.Midfielder Joe Cole is set to make his first appearance for five weeks in Liverpool's Europa League tie with Steaua Bucharest.

The England international has been sidelined by a hamstring injury but will take his place is a weakened side.

Steven Gerrard (hamstring) and Jamie Carragher (shoulder) are unavailable while Dirk Kuyt, Raul Meireles and Fernando Torres have been rested.

Meanwhile Carlos Vela and Philippe Senderos have been linked to the club in the January transfer window.
